ABOUT OUR CHEF
Merrilees Parker started her career at 17 when she took a job as a chalet girl in France. Once home, she joined the kitchen at the Eagle, London’s first gastropub.
She has worked as a chef at London Fashion Week, and at the Lansdowne in London’s Primrose Hill, earning rave reviews for her no-nonsense cuisine.
She began her TV career researching for the BBC and Channel 4. Her first big break came with Anything You Can Cook, a BBC2 series co-presented by Brian Turner.
Merrilees has gone on to present her own series Food Uncut on UKTV Food along with regular guest appearances on BBC2’s Saturday Kitchen, UKTV Food's Great Food Live and ITV1’s Saturday Cooks.
She has also become a popular face on the USA’s Planet Food, which is now being shown in the UK. Alongside her telly career, Merrilees co-runs Pink Food, a high-end catering company which caters for large and prestigious functions such as the annual Cartier International Polo event.
